| The Smith Mountain
Lake Antique and Classic Boat Show business community sponsors have generously
contributed to the success of the show. Their sponsorship reflects an interest
in our community and enables us to donate to local charities each year.
Last year’s charity recipients included organizations with a humanitarian
focus as well as those with an emphasis on public and water safety at the
Lake.
The SML Chapter made charitable donations to Lake Christian Ministries, Bedford Hospice Care, and Franklin County Hospice Care. Additional awards were made to the Huddleston Rescue Squad, the Smith Mountain Lake Marine Volunteer Fire Company, the Smith Mountain Lake Water Safety Council, and the Smith Mountain Lake Sail and Power Squadron. An additional award was made to the Moneta Volunteer Fire department on behalf of injured fire fighter Kevin Jamerson. We encourage all participants and guests to patronize our sponsors.
